Alaskan Malamute

The Alaskan Malamute is a large, powerful, and thick-coated working dog originally bred for hauling heavy freight in Arctic conditions. Known for their wolf-like appearance, they are intelligent, loyal, and affectionate, but also independent and stubborn, requiring consistent training and significant daily exercise. Their dense double coat requires regular grooming, and they are vocal, often "talking" with woo-woo sounds rather than barking.
